Directors chair interview
This is my directors chair interview where i cover how all my media productions goes well together effectively, and how I came about this through audience research and feedback.
Teaser trailer commentary
This is my Commentary of how my teaser trailer develops from media conventions through the use of non diegetic sound.
Tools of recording
I would like to show you the most commonly used tools I used throughout the production of my posters, magazine and teaser trailer. All these items have been used in many manners, and I will like to tell you there uses.

So here I have a Canon Power Shot A470 7.1 megapixel camera, this camera was many used to take photos of locations during location scouting, so this means I would also take shots that would be interesting to film. I also used this camera to take all the photos for my posters and magazine cover. It proved very useful as the quality was very good at capturing shadows making the image look more dynamic.

This is a Kodak z16 HD pocket camera and was by far the most useful thing I used throughout my production as it was what filmed the teaser and more. This came in hand so many times because I was able to use this camera to film shot outside of filming schedules, just when I would be outside going to any place in particular. An example would be all the shots taking in north London which I wasn’t expecting film anything that day. The quality of the camera is very good for day shots however for night scenes you get a grainy picture, but I found ways around this. I didn’t only use this camera to film but to also recorded voiceovers for the teaser, commentary and so on.
There were many other tool I used for the production such as the tripod I borrowed from college, my mobile phone, which at one point used for recording voices and my laptop which was used for editing the teaser and creating all the music and sound effects.

Poster analysis

After some feedback i have decided on what poster that would be best for analysis. This poster here entitles many aspects similar to my teaser trailer, this is most likely because the image used for this poster is an actually still from one of the shots i made during filming. The whole aspect of all my media production was to do something that was outside media conventions, including this poster here. The initial idea of the teaser trailer was to follow the drama genre. That meant that all the settings and character had to be grounded to reality and have qualities that a normal person could understand and relate to. This is what my whole poster is about; it was designed for the audience to recognise and then pick apart different aspects of the poster such as who is this person, what is he like, where is his location, what is he doing there and etc. The whole media production was made to be based in a contemporary urban environment as you can see here. I thought this was a good idea, so that it would create some sort of backstory without actually telling the story itself. That is why the poster is left so vague compared to the other poster that was telling a different message. There is no slogan on this poster, as I thought I would be best for the viewer to choose one, since the poster had a strong image to hold up everything. The top of the mentions that that the film is an adaption of a novel, this was to make it seem more a real movie poster. I also made up two logos and a website to follow this up. I keep all text away from main image, however I had to make sure that the title stood out and the credit blocks were easy to read. The poster was purposely de-saturated red to kind of follow the theme of the teaser trailer, which is in black and white. The colour red can mean a number of things, love, hate, passion and so many other things. That’s why I left chose that colour, as it made the poster more ambiguous.
